The Fundred Armored Truck arrived from New Orleans

at Holy Cross Elementary School

to collect the one hundred (fundred) dollar bills

created by the students.

The truck runs on used vegetable oil

and will journey on to Washington, D.C. to present Congress

with the Fundred dollar bills collected from across the nation.

Its purpose is to raise nation-wide awareness

and to collect funds necessary for lead-contamination remediation

in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The effort at Holy Cross Elementary was lead by art instructor Erin Shirley.
